About the #frontstepsproject
My goal with this project was to help pay the lease for a small business in Raeford, North Carolina for the month of May. Here is how it worked.
People in my community signed up for one of the time slots.. I went to their home and photographed their families on their front porch or steps. Social distancing was practiced. I used a 70-200 mm lens to ensure I was able to be far enough away and I shot the images from the sidewalks. I followed all guidelines recommended by our local government. In return, members of the community made donations. All profits went to Resound Yoga Studio, a business in our area that was impacted by COVID-19. We were able to raise over $1000 for Resound and help them pay their lease for the month of May.
